# Organization settings

> Manage members, groups, shared connections, and organization details.

Organization admins manage membership and shared settings from **Settings**.

## Organization roles

| Role | Scope |
| - | - |
| **User or member** | Uses the product with access granted to Workspaces, Canvases, files, and connections. |
| **Organization Admin** | Also manages organization details, members, groups, shared connections, and billing. |

Organization roles differ from **Owner**, **Editor**, and **Viewer** access on a Workspace or Canvas.

## Invite members

    Choose **Invite members**, enter the person's email, and select the appropriate role.

    The recipient accepts the invitation and signs in. Share the Workspaces or Canvases they need, or use an existing organization or group grant.

Available seats can limit invitations. Pending invitations also count toward the invitation capacity.

Use the member list to change roles, review pending invitations, or remove a member. Removing membership takes away access through that organization; it doesn't automatically erase shared artifacts.

## Groups

Create and manage groups in **Settings → Groups**. Use groups for supported sharing destinations, such as files and Canvases, so you can manage a team's access together.

Removing someone from a group removes access from that group grant. They may still have separate direct or Workspace access.

## Organization details and SSO

Use **Settings → Organization** to update the organization name and details. Eligible Enterprise organizations also manage [single sign-on](/product/account/sso) there.

## Shared connections

Admins manage organization connections in **Connectors**. These use the connected account's access and can be available to every member's agent. Check the scope before connecting an account with broad access.

Personal ChatGPT and Claude subscriptions stay personal to the user in that organization. They aren't shared Connector accounts.
