# Asana

> Read Asana projects and tasks, and create or update project work.

Connect Asana to review project state and turn Canvas decisions into tasks.

## What the agent can do

**Read**

* Browse workspaces, teams, projects, and sections.
* Read and search tasks and their comment threads.
* Look up users and assignments.

**Act**

* Create tasks and projects.
* Update supported task details, assignees, and dates.
* Comment on tasks.
* Remove tasks through the available task action.

## Browse and drop

Browse projects, tasks, and My Tasks in the Connectors rail, then drop the relevant work onto a Canvas.

## Connect

    Open **Settings → Connectors** and choose **Asana** from the available catalog.

  <Step title="Authorize">
    Click **Connect**. Sign in and authorize the Asana account and workspace you need.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the connection">
    Confirm that it appears under **Connected**, then ask the agent to retrieve one item you can verify.
