# Microsoft Teams

> Read Teams conversations and send or update messages.

Connect Microsoft Teams to use channel and chat conversations as context and post supported updates.

## What the agent can do

**Read**

* Browse teams, channels, and chats.
* List and search messages and read threads.
* Access available online meeting recordings.

**Act**

* Send messages to channels and chats.
* Update or remove messages where the connected account has permission.

## Browse and drop

Browse teams, channels, chats, and available meeting material in the Connectors rail, then drop relevant items onto a Canvas.

## Connect

  <Step title="Find the connector">
    Open **Settings → Connectors** and choose **Microsoft Teams** from the available catalog.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize">
    Click **Connect**. Sign in with your Microsoft account. If an admin manages an organization connection, check that connection's scope and permissions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the connection">
    Confirm that it appears under **Connected**, then ask the agent to retrieve one item you can verify.
  </Step>
