Connectors let the agent read from and act in other apps through an authorized account. Use the catalog in **Settings → Connectors** to see what's available to your organization. To connect an existing ChatGPT or Claude subscription, use [Model providers](/product/account/model-providers). Those connections fund agent turns rather than provide app data. ## Connect an app Open **Settings → Connectors** or the Connectors view in the left rail. Use **Available** to find an app. Click **Connect** and follow the provider's setup. Many apps use a sign-in and authorization window; others require the credentials or configuration described in their setup. Complete any app-specific settings, such as HubSpot properties and owner mapping. Check **Connected**, then ask the agent for a specific item you know the account can access. ## Ask or browse Ask the agent for the result you need: *"Find tomorrow's customer meeting and the recent email thread with its attendees."* For supported browsers, expand the connected app in the left rail and drop records onto a Canvas. The browser's available item types and the agent's action list can differ. The catalog and each connector's guide describe its supported scope. ## Personal and organization connections * **Personal connections.** Available to your own agent conversations in the current organization. * **Organization connections.** Managed by an admin and available to members' agents. Actions use the connected account's permissions. An organization connection can expose information available to that shared account; it doesn't necessarily reproduce each member's permissions in the external app. Sharing a Canvas shares the content you've placed there. It doesn't give collaborators your personal app credentials. ## Review changes Use [agent permission controls](/product/agent/permissions) to choose when commands ask for confirmation. Ask for drafts or proposed changes when you want to review content before an external action. A connected app logo doesn't promise access to every feature in that app. Specific tools, account permissions, and your selected agent determine which actions can run. ## A connection or item is missing Check **Connected** for an error or required setup. Reconnect if authorization has expired. Confirm that the connected account can open the source item in the original app. For an organization-managed connection, ask the admin to check its configuration. If an app is unavailable, use any request option shown in the catalog or contact Cohesive. ## Disconnect Open the connector's settings to disconnect a personal connection. Organization connections are managed by an admin. Disconnecting prevents subsequent use of that connection; content already copied into Cohesive remains until you remove it. ## Available connectors The in-product catalog may include additional connectors. Availability and configuration can vary by organization.
