# Build a useful visual

> Turn source material into an interactive comparison, chart, or briefing.

Ask the agent for an HTML block when a visual arrangement or local interaction will make your source material easier to understand.

## Choose a suitable output

## Build and review

    Put the files on a Canvas and select them. Specify which source takes precedence if they disagree.

    Name the audience, the decision it should support, and the controls that would be useful.

  <Step title="Check the result">
    Compare numbers, labels, units, and dates with the original files. Try the controls and check that they change the intended view.

    Select the block and ask for a concrete change: *"Use a common scale for all vendors and show missing values as unknown."*

  <Step title="Share the reviewed version">
    Share the Canvas with teammates or publish a snapshot. Check the public view after publishing.

## Keep durable data outside the controls

Filters, calculators, and tabs are suitable local interactions. A block's temporary state can reset, so use files or Canvas objects for information that must persist, such as assigned tasks or approved decisions.
