Limits and availability - Cohesive

Use these limits when preparing files and planning work.

File upload	100 MB per file
Chat attachments	Up to five files per message
Open tabs	20 Canvases or chats
Canvas parallel task creation	Up to 50 items per batch
Recurring Automation cadence	At least 30 minutes between runs
Archived file recovery	14 days after archiving

Provider rate limits, subscription allowances, and Cohesive usage checks apply separately.

Feature availability

Agent choice and Model providers, Canvas comments, voice features, and Automations can be enabled separately for an organization. Single sign-on requires an eligible Enterprise plan and admin access. If a control described in these docs is missing, check your role and organization availability. See Troubleshooting.

File support

Upload support, preview support, editing, and content extraction are different capabilities. Not every accepted file type has a native editor or searchable extraction. A card can appear before its processing finishes. See Files on the Canvas.
